Monday-Saturday 8:00AM to 11:00AM and 3:30PM-5:30PM Due to limited staffing and only one meet and greet  room, we strongly recommend you set an appointment.  

Our adoption fees vary depending on the animal and their medical needs. Typically, our fees range from $50 to $200.

First, you will need to fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meeting with you and the animal you are interested in. If the meeting goes well, you can take the animal home with you that day.

   It generally takes one to two business days to process an application with references. 

 In some instances we can do a same day adoption but it is strongly recommended that you fill out an adoption application and be preapproved in advance especially if you are driving from a distance.  

Yes, we offer low-cost spay/neuter services for both cats and dogs. Please see our Outreach Page for more information.

 We can not guarantee that most of them are as most come in as strays.  

To surrender an animal, please call 785-742-1976 or email brcohs66434@yahoo.com. A $50 surrender fee will be charged if the animal is not spayed or neutered.
